And that's a wrap, folks! I honestly cannot believe September is about to be over. Where has 2018 gone?!??! It's basically Halloween, which is practically Christmas. So realistically, it's already 2019, and I cannot even handle it.
But it's been great! I am still in the States on my (mini) break from Vietnam. And by mini, I mean like 3 months long. It has been FANTASTIC. As you may know from other posts, I spent the last half of July in DC, then all of August in North Carolina working and spending time with family, and rounded out September back in the Capitol city. I've been so crazy fortunate through housesitting clients, family, and friends; so have been rent-free since June (seriously, such a blessing).
I've been on the grind looking for photoshoots locations, communicating with potential clients, emailing like crazy, posting to social media non-stop, editing photos, writing and copy editing for clients, researching branding and marketing and business tips through webinars, videos, and other social media influencers... on and on and on and on. This is my life now, and I am LOVING it.
(Photos below are from a friend's wedding and two family photo sessions.)
I'm traveling tomorrow to my family's cabin in upstate New York where I will be off the grid for a week, and I am SO FREAKING READY. I've been feeling a lot of self-made pressure to be doing more and being more and working harder, and have come to the conclusion that if there is a healthy balance of on and off time, in some capacity, I'll burn out. So peace out, guys. I'm taking a little break!
I'm sure I'll find a wifi connection somewhere and will post to Instagram, but hopefully not too often. Thanks for all the support, and talk to you guys soon!
(Below are photos from a yoga photoshoot, a real estate session, and a shoot for a tour guide company. How awesome and eclectic are my clients?!)
