Hi! Thank you for checking out my website. I'm Danielle, a freelance photographer from the United States. Ever since my dad put his old Pentax in my hands, I knew that I wanted to do something with photography. So I received a degree in Photojournalism & Communications from American University in Washington, DC and have had cameras in my hands since then.
I have traveled and freelanced around the world, worked at nonprofits with important causes (such as removing land mines, fostering education, and addressing climate change), and always had my photography business on the side. But while I learned so much from the nonprofits I worked for and from the hospitality industry about putting clients first, it became time to fully invest in photography and my business.
Starting in December 2017, I officially became a full-time, freelance, remote photographer and have been loving every second of it.
I love traveling, immersing in my wanderlust, and finding awesome clients to work for wherever I go. So enjoy the site! Check out my portfolio and some of my inspirations. And reach out anytime! I loveeee talking to new and old clients, geeking out over anything travel-related, and gushing about my adoration of puppies, babies, and Sicily (in no particular order).
