After being in country for a few months, I feel like I'm starting to get my grip on life here! I remind myself often that I was not only just moving to a new place, I was moving here alone and without the support of an employer or organization. I've been building my business and client list from scratch simultaneously with starting a new life in a new country. So as the baby steps start progressing positively, I am seeing the fruits of my labor! The past couple weeks have been photoshoot after photoshoot, and I'm loving it. Check out some of the photos and details below for the wide-ranging clients I've worked with recently. I photographed some Easter shots for friends in the apartment complex. An English language center in the area has hired me to add some updated photos to their website. I've been working with a Japanese woman who hosts tour groups for Japanese families visiting Vietnam. A fantastic school for children with autism, speech problems, ADD/ADHD, or behavioral issues hired me to capture an event they were doing for Autism Awareness Week. A newborn baby born a few weeks early was special for me to capture. A friend who is a health and lifestyle coach asked me to take some photos for her website.
And I did one of my favorite photoshoots to date: a couple celebrating their one year wedding anniversary. We went around Saigon on their motorbikes. They were so adventurous and fun to shoot! We stopped at sunset on the Saigon Bridge with traffic streaming past us and had a blast. Stay tuned for more updates.
